What is the minimum age requirement to rent a car?
Renters must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid drivers license as well as a valid credit card and a current auto insurance policy.

Is there a fee for underaged drivers under 25 years old?
No, There is no underage fee when you rent from us, 21 and older pays the same. All you need to show upon booking is a proof of insurance, a valid driver’s license and pay for your rental with a credit card.
Do you have a minimum days requirement for a booking?
Yes and No. The system will only let you book for a minimum of 7 days rental. You are more than welcome to book for 7 days and “return early” just make a note for us at the “comments” box at end of the booking process with your actual return date and time. We will be sure to contact you and verify but this would be the only way to book with us for less than 7 days. Please note that our weekly price will most likely be cheaper then 2 or 3 days elsewhere.
If my flight is delayed and I arrive late at night, can I still pickup my rental car after hours?
Yes. You can pickup your rental car from OGG- Kahului airport at anytime day or night, 7 days a week. if you arrive late, your rental car will still be waiting for you at the airport public parking lot.
Is there a charge for miles?
No. Free unlimited miles.
What taxes and fees am I paying in addition to my rental rate?
Taxes: The State of Hawaii imposes a surcharge of $5 per day for rental vehicles, as well as GET tax (sales tax) of 4.166% on total rental cost.
Fees: A parking fee of up to $15 will required to exit the parking lot at the Kahului Airport for all airport rental pickups. A 15$ parking fee will be applied for reservations with after hours returns at the Kahului Airport (OGG). Only $1 to hold your reservation, no deposit and cancelation is free up to 48 hours prior to your arrival, cancellation fee is between $65-$100 depends on the season.
How do I make changes to my existing reservation?
You can make changes to your reservation by email or by phone. Just contact us with any changes you would like to make and we will take care of it for you. Note that we can only honor changes that we have approved.
What kind of insurance do I get with my rental car?
Our commercial liability insurance policy meets the minimum requirements of the State of Hawaii, and acts as secondary insurance to your personal auto insurance policy. You can choose to purchase a CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) from us which will provide you with a full coverage for your rental vehicle with a $1000 deductible.
Can I still rent a car even if I do not have a personal auto Insurance policy?
Yes. You would need to purchase a CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) from us. You can add it to your reservation on the second page of the booking process, then, simply write “CDW” on the “Personal auto insurance provider” window.
Can I get full coverage on my rental vehicle?
You sure can, by adding a CDW (collision damage waiver) to your reservation while booking your rental car on our website. This is full coverage for your rental vehicle. CDW costs $10 per rental day and has a costumer deductible of up to $1,000.
Can you accommodate late arrivals at the Maui Kahului Airport?
Yes, you can pick up your rental car anytime day or night, hassle free with no lines and no shuttles from the Kahului airport (OGG). Only takes minuts from the moment you get your luggage to the time you pick up your rental and drive away. Available 24/7 late arrivals are defiantly possible.
Where do I pickup my rental car once I arrive at the Maui Kahului Airport?
Once you have arrived at the Kahului airport, refresh your email inbox to find our simple and easy rental car pickup & return instructions. After picking up your luggage, cross the road right outside baggage claim and you will see the “Train House” DO NOT go on the green tram keep walking straight into the Airport Public Parking lot. (see map attached to the email) Follow the instructions email which include photos of your rental for location and condition purposes. Remember you can always call us if you can not find your rental or have any question at all.
Where do I drop off my rental car at the end of my trip?
Unless directed otherwise, Arrive at the the Kahului airport (OGG) at the date and time set on your reservation and enter the airport public parking lot- the same lot you have picked up your rental from. Park your car at the same isle where you picked it up, set your lockbox back on the car and follow the instructions card located inside the glove box for a correct and safe return. remember to fuel up prior to your return to avoid the $20 fuel recovery fee. Also clean up the car to the best of your ability to avoid the excessive cleaning fee of up to $100. Smoking inside the vehicle will carry a $250 penalty.
Note: Unless extension was discussed and permitter, Late rental returns after the time set on the reservation are subject to a late fee of $50 and an hourly rate of $15 per hour up to a daily rate after 5 hours of $80-$195 depends on the season.
Do you require a credit card in order to rent a car?
Yes, we except all major credit cards, by paying for your rental car with a credit card you also get an extra insurance from your credit card company.
Do you charge deposit or put a hold on my credit card?
No. We do not charge deposit. A nonrefundable $1 payment to hold your reservation and cancellation is free up to 48 hours prior to your arrival. We do not put a hold on your credit card.
Do you accept debit cards or cash payments?
Yes, we do accept debit cards as long as you can provide proof of insurance with a valid auto policy in your name. We accept cash payment although we need to have a credit card on file and see a proof of a valid auto insurance policy.
What is the procedure in the event of an accident?
First make sure everybody is ok, then call 911 and file a police report. Collect insurance and drivers license information from the other party involved. Then, notify us of the situation and we will respond accordingly.
What do I do in case of an emergency such as a flat tire, dead battery, lost key, mechanical issue?
We are quick to replay and help in any event. If you have not purchased “roadside assistance” from us, Contact AAA if you have an account or contact us, we charge between $100-$325 for assistance depends on location and the nature of the problem. Including tire replacement, jump start and lockout service. Renter will be charged between $200-$350 for a lost or damaged key, depends on the type of kye. If you are experiencing any mechanical issue with your rental vehicle, we will replace it as soon as possible for no charge, just call (808)866-0286 and press 2.
Can you accommodate long term rentals?
Absolutely. In fact, we are the perfect choice when it comes to long term car rentals on Maui. Considering our cheap rates, then our long term discounts on top of it, combined with our unmarked, clean and reliable rentals you can roll like a local for your long term stay without braking the bank.
Do you accept drivers with an international drivers license?
We sure do. As long as your license is valid and in English. Also if you do not have travelers insurance, a valid policy in the US or coverage from your credit card company you would have to purchase a CDW from us.
What is the fee for returning a rental with less then a full tank of fuel?
A $15 recovery fee will be added to charges for gas missing on returns with less fuel than showing in the condition report photo you received with your instructions email.
Do I need to vacuum or wash the car prior to dropping it off?
Yes, To the best of your ability. And to avoid any cleaning fees please make sure your rental car is not excessively dirty. We will never charge you before calling you first.
Do you offer car seats or booster seats?
Yes. We offer top of the line rental baby seats and boosters. All are clean and in fairly new condition.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Our cancellation policy is simple. We do not charge for cancellations outside of 5 days from your arrival date and time. Should you decide to cancel within the 5 days, your cancellation fee is 30% of your reservation total before tax. For example, if your reservation total is $1,000.00 and you decide to cancel within 5 days from your arrival date and time, your cancellation fee is $300. Please Note: Cancellation requests must be done in writing via email for records purposes. phone calls or voicemails will not be sufficient.
